New Kitchen Countertops and Sink

As you can see in the pictures the kitchen becomes a wreck no matter how organized you are! We are so excited they are installed with only 1 more to go. Next will be the refacing of the cupboards, flooring, and ceiling.

Also check out the new recipes in my cookbook!

Thanks Heidi

So my friend Heidi kicked me in the rear and reminded me I haven't posted in awhile and that I still had Christmas wallpaper and it was now past Valentine's. Thanks for the nudge...

Things have been busy around here. The kids are now involved in 4H. Daniel choose Lego Robotics and Adalynn is in Cloverbuds. They also are in a science class that has turned out to be just plain fun!! Daniel has decided that he wants to start karate back up and Adalynn misses gymnastics. So thank God we homeschool or we might never be home.

Andy's business is doing good. We just got his license back as Upstream Auto, LLC. So it is official now. So now we are on to the next step of getting bonded and insured so we can get a dealer's license to go to the car auctions. This will allow us to get cars at a better discount.

I am looking forward to spring. I noticed a few green patches in my little flower garden and told them to go back to sleep. I planted 300 flower bulbs last fall and am hoping the squirrels don't dig them all up.

Well lots more to tell, but better give you a reason to come back............

Merry Christmas Everyone

While things are still a little bit slower and quieter I thought that I would take a moment to wish you all a Merry Christmas from our house to yours. It was such a great Christmas this year full of the traditions that we have created for our little family. We made it a priority to spend quality time together this year as a family instead of getting swept up in all of the hussle. We visited Great Grandma Dorothy at Hunter's Pointe and then Papa Ross at Big Sky Care Center. Then we were off to enjoy Christmas Eve with the Butler's for the Grandma Sue's birthday and the "SHRIMP FEAST"!! The kids look forward to this all year long and is talked about often in the Tode house. We planned on looking at the Christmas lights afterwards, but decided to come home and relax! Christmas morning is always fun with the kids, but I think this was one of the best yet. They really enjoyed everything the received and still remembered the "reason for the season". We as a family decided that this year we would bless other families and that we would not go overboard with the presents. The kids really got into the spirit by giving to the Christmas Shoeboxes, the Salvation Army bell ringers, the Food Bank, and Toys for Tots. Grandma Joyce and Papa Bruce came over Christmas morning for breakfast (usually our favorite breakfast casserole and pumpkin scones with maple butter, Mmm!!!). We spent the afternoon with the kids opening their packages, building with Legos, and checking out all of the new clothes that Adalynn got for Rosie. It was nice to have a slower pace since we all were still groggy from our shrimp hangovers! We had the rest of the Tode's over for Christmas dinner followed by our gift exchange. And finally into bed we fell............ all to resume again today by reliving all of the excitement with the kids :) We hope all of our family and friends shared a blessed Christmas with all of their loved ones close by. Christmas Calendar

Well they are finally done. Grandmas Joyce and I made Daniel a Polar Express Christmas Calendar where he takes a small ornament from a train car each day and hangs it on one of the buttons on the side. Adalynn's is a Cookie Jar Christmas Calendar where she moves a cookie from the calendar section and places it in the mixing bowl up top. Adalynn's was a kit that Joyce found at a local fabric store that we put together and Daniel's was all custom designed and made from a picture I had seen online.
